The short version: We collect as little as possible, we never sell your data, and your messages are never stored.
What We Collect
When you create an account we collect your email address and a hashed password. If you subscribe to Pro, we store a Stripe customer ID and subscription status — we never see or store your full card details. We collect basic usage counts to enforce free tier limits. That's it.
What We Don't Collect
We do not store the messages you paste into Slapback. They are processed in real time and immediately discarded. We do not collect your name, phone number, location, or any other personal information beyond what is listed above.
How Your Messages Are Used
When you submit a message for analysis, it is transmitted over an encrypted connection to Anthropic's Claude API for processing. The response is returned to you and displayed on screen. Your message is never logged, stored in a database, or reviewed by any human. Anthropic's API terms prohibit using your inputs to train AI models.
Cookies
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that identify you as an individual.
Third Parties
We use Anthropic (AI processing) and Stripe (payments). Both operate under their own privacy policies. We do not share your data with any other third parties.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@slapback.fun. We will respond within 7 business days.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

Acceptable Use

Accounts & Billing
Free accounts are limited to 5 analyses per month. Pro accounts are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you believe you've been charged in error, contact support@slapback.fun within 14 days.
Intellectual Property
The Slapback name, logo, and product are owned by us. The responses generated by Slapback on your behalf are yours to use as you see fit.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Slapback is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time.
Governing Law
