The messages you paste into Slapback are never saved to our servers. They're sent to the AI, processed, and discarded. We have nothing to breach.

Your inputs are never used to train AI models — ours or anyone else's. Your conversations are yours alone.

Encrypted in Transit

All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted via TLS 1.2+. Nothing travels in plain text.

We only collect what's necessary — your email address and subscription status. Nothing beyond what you give us.

Third-Party AI

Slapback uses Anthropic's Claude API to process messages. Anthropic's API terms prohibit using your inputs for model training.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or third parties. Ever. Full stop.

How Your Message Is Processed

When you paste a message into Slapback, here's exactly what happens: your message is sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which immediately forwards it to Anthropic's Claude API along with our analysis instructions. The AI processes it and returns a response. We display that response to you. Your message is never written to a database or log file.

If you have a free account, we store only your email address and usage count (to enforce the free tier limit). If you have a Pro account, we additionally store your Stripe subscription ID. That's the complete list.

Cookies & Tracking

Slapback uses a session cookie to keep you logged in. We use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the product is used in aggregate — no individual tracking, no fingerprinting, no advertising pixels.

Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@slapback.fun. We'll process all deletion requests within 7 business days.

Our Commitment

We built Slapback for people in vulnerable moments — processing difficult relationships, stressful workplaces, painful conversations. We will never exploit that trust. If you ever have a security concern or question, contact us directly at support@slapback.fun.

Reporting a Vulnerability

If you discover a security vulnerability in Slapback, please disclose it responsibly by emailing support@slapback.fun. We take all reports seriously and will respond within 48 hours. Please do not publicly disclose vulnerabilities before we've had a chance to address them.
